Old Dunsborough.

Old Dunsborough is the original town settlement where farmers built their holiday shacks along the beach to make the most of fishing from the beach or rocks and giving their kids ample space to play along the beach, swim, snorkel and ride their bikes freely along the one narrow road that led into the hamlet. Since then, a lot of original beach shacks have been replaced by modern and sprawling homes, but, the charm of the area with its sheltered bays, coastal walk tracks, boat ramp and finger jetty, beach side parks and playgrounds and public BBQS still makes it one of the most popular destinations of the south west.

Dunsborough Town.

The town itself has gone a massive transformation in the past 80 years; from a one bakery, one servo town with a single road leading in and out, to a thriving center of retail shops, cafes, restaurants, gift and fashion outlets, pubs, bakeries, hair and beauty salons, post office and all the professional services you may need like doctors, physios, vets, dentists – the lot! There was a time where locals had to leg it to Busselton to shop, but nowadays, all we require is in Downtown Dunsborough. Another benefit of staying close to town is being able to walk in an out as traffic and parking can be hectic at peak times and with limited public transport, a short stumble home late at night after a counter meal at the pub or few too many vinos at the towns’ award winning restaurants is a welcomed advantage!
